Watercolourist od Devon, & Cornwall scenes.Studied art at Exeter School of Art under John Shapland. Exhibited locally at Worths & Elands Galleries, Exeter. In WW1, joined Devonshire regiment. After the war, went to Dundee working as an illustator with James Valentine & Sons.

This is a beautiful example of this artist's work, pristine frame & mount, rare subject matter (never seen one of Torquay, before), at an exceptional price.
