Born in St. Leonards on Sea in 1922. Attended art classes at Reading University winning the Wells Prize, & Owen Ridley Prize in fine art. Prominent member of the National Society of Painters, Sculptors & Printmakers. Also of the Society of Portrait Sculptors. Exhibited at the RA, RWA, & Paris Salon winning Bronze, & Silver Medals. Lived at Caversham.
