Morgan Alfred Thornley 1955 w/c St. Ives 17 x 25 cms. £105
Born in Cardiff on Feb. 7th. 1897. Studied art at Heatherley's, & at Spenlove School. Exhibited @ B.W.S, U.A, & in the provinces. Elected Associate of the British Watercolour Society 1924, and New Society of Artists also in 1924. Also exhibited extensively with the United Society of Artists. This one has UA after the signature. Died in 1965.
