G.Freedenburgh

G.Freedenburgh (?) 1873 ooc 37 x 47 cms £595

Lovely quality continental oil on canvas signed (I think) G.Freedenburgh, & dated 1873. Original unlined canvas with one small patch, original frame, in the same family for at least the last 20 years. The signature is lower left in the brown area under the tree. I have looked with a magnifying glass & this is the best interpretation of the signature. Its possible that the "G" & "F" could be an"L", or "R". It is very difficult to photograph as the letters only show up in certain angles of light!
