Frederick Hall 1860-1948 w/c Hauling goods 20 x 30cms £295
Born in Shillington, Yorks. Studied at Lincoln School of Art, 1879-81, Antwerp Academy, 1882-3. Returned to London & exhibited regularly at RSBA, RA, NEAC, & Grosvenor Galleries. Moved to Newlyn in 1884 and left 1897. Eventually settled in Berkshire 1911, & lived there for the rest of his life. A member of St Ives School of Art 1936-48. Held in many public collections including Blackburn, Bradford, Leeds, Northampton, Truro & also Wellington, N.Z.
A good clean example of this top quality St. Ives School artist. New mount, original frame.
